Exhibition: High Country by Bruce Herbert

‘Building on his previous work, this exhibition continues to explore the landscape, both in the macro and the micro. Refining his vision through engaging with different landscapes, this time in the High Country of Victoria, Bruce continues his narrative with the delicate and the powerful in a series of images which is on display at Analogue Academy in Geelong.

The exhibition shows works printed from negatives taken on a recent trip to Victoria’s High Country, which attempt to capture the subtleness and delicacy of the rugged alpine landscape.

All of the images were taken on a 4 x 5 camera using film and printed by hand.’

Analogue Academy, Cuzens Place, Geelong, opening 3pm on 3rd August – then daily from 8am – 3pm until 16th August 2019. There will be a presentation/talk by the photographer on Saturday 10th August at 2pm.
