‘Melbourne and the world is experience the comeback of film. The tactile nature and restraints are now admired. To the photographers who are just discovering the joys of film to those of us who grew up with it, this exhibition is for you. The gallery has assembled 50+ prints by some of the most important figures of that century and placed them on the walls. There is three masterpieces, Marc Riboud’s Washington, Eddie Adams’ Death of a Vietcong suspect and Arnold Newman’s Stravinsky alongside important works by Cartier-Bresson, Weegee, W Eugene Smith and so many more.’ XYZ Gallery.
