Exhibition: Nature in time: Images from Central Victoria
Photographs by: Patrick Kavanagh, Bronwyn Silver, Bernard Slattery & David Tatnall
‘Some moments pass too quickly; some things are too small for the eye to catch, some too ‘ordinary’ to be noticed. Photography helps us fix them in the mind, invites us to feel their unique weight.
Patrick Kavanagh, Bronwyn Silver, Bernard Slattery and David Tatnall invite us to redirect our gaze at the ordinary and the fleeting in the Box-Ironbark region.’
Newstead Arts Hub. Newstead, Victoria. 5 – 27 March 2022. Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pm & Monday 14 March 10 am – 4 pm.

There are some great images here. I don’t know the Box-Ironbark region in central Victoria. Is it in central Victoria around the Castlemaine area and that of the Victorian gold fields?
Gary the Box-Ironbark region of Victoria is a long narrow corridor running from Stawell & Ararat in the west to Chiltern in the east with Castlemaine roughly in the middle.
