Exhibition: Japan – Photos by Australians; Selections by Japanese

This is an exhibition to see which of the photographs made by Australians in Japan, appeal to visually literate Japanese. We display print of 43 photographs selected from the 681 submitted by 75 photographers. A monitor will show the full 681 as a slideshow. 

When we travel what are we looking to achieve? What do we seek? How important is the local culture? Do we seek out the local or are we happy with the packaged expression?
