Exhibition: Summer Salon 2025 – XYZ Photo Gallery

‘XYZ Photo Gallery presents a Summer Salon of work we love. We have selected two local photographers to put beside some of the works we have collected over the last few years. This collection includes four of the key early Magnum agency photographers, HBC, Robert Capa, George Rodger and Eve Arnold. Alongside images from the 1940s NYC as recorded by Weegee and one of Latin America’s most important practitioners, Pedro Meyer. Two of Australia’s most important commercial photographers who have been accepted into the art world, Wolfgang Sievers and John Gollings. We have also highlighted a few unknown photographers from the first 100 years of our medium.

We are a small gallery dedicated to supporting the local photographic community by providing opportunities to show and see some of the greats. This exhibition does both.’
