Exhibition: Re-framing the travel shot – Silvi Glattauer
‘I use my camera but not for documentation, but rather as means of reflection, and as a way to interpret imagined geographies, layered time, and quiet stories that linger beneath the surface.
These are crafted images, made not to represent a single moment, but to evoke many. Each one is composed in sections that suggest the fragmented nature of perception and recollection.
This series is printed entirely using the photopolymer photogravure process, a technique that allows for rich tonal depth, subtle textures, and hand-crafted nuance.’ Silvi Glattauer
