‘Its with sadness that I tell you of the closure of my gallery at the end of January 2019. I set up the gallery twelve months ago as an experiment to see whether a bricks and mortar gallery showcasing the iconic works of Australia’s greatest photographer, Max Dupain, would work. Not just Dupain’s work but other established and respected photographers were exhibited. I was proud of all the photography exhibited in my gallery; all photographs and artists are of the highest calibre. I’m sure Max would have loved the gallery and the way his artwork was displayed and promoted. Alas it has not achieved sufficient commercial success to continue.’ Peter White
