Exhibition: Rock, Stone, Earth

Rock, Stone, Earth is a celebration of the spectacular and unique geology of South Australia, seen through the eyes of a diverse collection of SA artists, both long established and new.  The geology of South Australia dates back more than 3,000,000,000 years, and some of the rock exposures around the State are of global significance. The exhibition aims to interest, inspire and educate visitors about the geological landscapes, rocks and minerals of South Australia. Some artists will interpret the theme in abstract, realistic or expressionist ways, and others will connect with the theme through use of earth materials.’

Curated by Janine Baker and Stephen Johnson.  Featured artists: Quentin Gore, Stephen Skillitzi, the late Władysław Dutkiewicz, Adam Dutkiewicz, John Richardson, Janette Humble, Azzurro, Tina Moore, Deborah Odell, Gary Sauer-Thompson, Stephen Johnson and Janine Baker.
